CONCORD UNIVERSITY’S PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE, JAZZ BAND PERFORMING

ATHENS, W.Va. On Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 7-9 p.m., Concord’s percussion ensemble and jazz band, known as the Commanders, will perform. This event will take place in the Main Auditorium of the Alexander Fine Arts Center, which is located on Concord’s Athens campus.

The percussion ensemble, directed by Dr. Casey Cangelosi, and the jazz band, directed by Dr. David Ball, will perform such songs as “A Nightingale Song in Berkeley Square,” “What a Wonderful World” and “Fly Me to the Moon.” Ball will play trombone, and Dr. Jacob Womack, an adjunct instructor, will also join, on piano.
