AWARD-WINNING VOCAL GROUP CANTUS PERFORMING
AT CONCORD UNIVERSITY

ATHENS, W.Va. – The award winning men’s vocal group Cantus will be performing in the Alexander Fine Arts Center Main Auditorium on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013 at 7 p.m. The Fine Arts Center is located on Concord University’s Athens campus at 1000 Vermillion Street, Athens, W.Va.

Cantus is an all-male group that has travelled all over the world performing. They are highly reviewed, and sing a wide range of music including jazz, pop, folk, and spirituals, just to name a few.

“Cantus is a world-class vocal performance group. We are lucky to have them return to Concord a second time in five years. Their music is precise and beautiful, well-blended, and thoughtful. I hope the Concord community will turn out in big numbers for this opportunity to hear some of the finest music in the world today,” Dr. Tim Mainland, professor of music, stated.

This event is part of the Performing Artist Series. No tickets are necessary to attend, and it is free and open to the public.
