EDGAR ALLAN POE’S MASTERWORKS
BEING PRESENTED AT CONCORD UNIVERSITY

ATHENS, W.Va. – The J. Frank Marsh Library of Concord University will present “Edgar Allan Poe Comes Alive” on Friday, Oct. 25, 2013 at 7 p.m. in the library.

Craig Scott Jones of the Traveling Jones Theater will perform his one man show consisting of eight of Poe’s masterworks in their entirety. Included are: “The Tell-Tale Heart,” “The Raven,” “Annable Lee,” “The Conqueror Worm,” “The Masque of the Red Death,” “Eldorado,” “Spirits of the Dead,” and, “A Dream within a Dream.” This is not Readers Theater. The pieces are fully memorized and Poe himself (Jones) intersperses humorous biographical bits and pieces about his life.

The show is a free event and is open to the public. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and will close at 7 p.m.
