GLOW GREEN 5K’ AT CONCORD UNIVERSITY BENEFITING
JAMES F. CAUDILL TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY FOUNDATION
ATHENS, W.Va. – Concord University students are coordinating a “Glow Green 5K” on Saturday evening, April 20th with proceeds benefitting the James F. Caudill Traumatic Brain Injury Foundation. The run/walk event will take place at Concord. Registration is at 6:30 p.m. at the Callaghan Stadium parking lot and the race begins at 7:30 p.m.
The Foundation was recently established after former Concord student James Caudill suffered a traumatic brain injury.
The James F. Caudill Traumatic Brain Injury Foundation, or “C Foundation,” is committed to raising awareness about traumatic brain injuries and assisting families and victims of these tragedies. Green glow sticks will light the paths for the runners and walkers. This event will be a first for the “C Foundation.” The cost of the run is $10 for children under 12, $15 for Concord University students and $20 for community members. A group of five can participate for $75.
On-campus sign-ups for the run began on April 1st on the bottom floor of the Jerry and Jean Beasley Student Center and will continue until the day of the race with no late entry fee. Community members should sign up by contacting organizer, Kylie Kirn at email@example.com
