CONCORD UNIVERSITY HOSTING HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE DEC. 4

ATHENS, W.Va. – Concord University is celebrating the season with a Holiday Open House at University Point on Tuesday, Dec. 4 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Guests will be treated to an evening of holiday music, refreshments and festive fun. The community is invited to join in the celebration. There is no admission charge.

Concord University student vocalists and musicians, including the ConChords and jazz and Celtic performers, will entertain throughout the gathering. Carolers will welcome guests outside of University Point as the evening’s activities get underway.

Performances will also be held in the Erickson Alumni Lounge, Wilkes Family Chapel and John and Lucia Pais Family Fellowship Hall.

Adding to the charm of the evening is the Holiday Hall of Trees, which will be located in the fellowship hall. Each of these unique trees will feature the decorating talents of Concord University students, staff and faculty representing various departments and organizations on campus.

Santa Claus, ready to hear wish lists from children, will be settled in for the evening in the alumni lounge. Holiday wassail and hors d’oeuvres are on the menu along with other festive goodies.
