CONCORD UNIVERSITY PRESENTS ELIZABETH KENDALL’S ‘VISUAL RHYTHMS’ CERAMIC ART

ATHENS, W.Va. - The Concord University Department of Art is presenting Elizabeth Kendall’s “Visual Rhythms” Ceramic Art Show now through Oct. 1 in the Alexander Fine Arts Center’s Gallery. The Fine Arts Center is located on Concord’s campus at 1000 Vermillion Street in Athens.

Kendall has shown her artwork throughout the United States as well as internationally in Denmark and China. A reception will be held for Kendall in the gallery on Thursday, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m.

She will demonstrate how she creates her sculptures, wall art and vessels at the Fine Arts Center in Room A104 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30 and Saturday, Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Students and guests will have the opportunity to see Kendall present new techniques and styles like mold-making as well as unique ways to work with porcelain.
