Concord University Hosting Grad Fair

ATHENS - Concord University will host a Graduation Fair Monday, Sept. 20, 2010 from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Jerry L. Beasley Student Center Ballroom.

Fairs are held each semester for seniors who will graduate at the end of that semester.

At the upcoming Grad Fair, December candidates for graduation can apply for graduation, pay the $50 graduation fee, get measured for a cap and gown and order invitations and class rings.

Administrative offices including the Business Office, Registrar’s Office, Financial Aid, Student Support Services, Career Services and others will be attending in order to assist graduates with a smooth transition from Concord.

The Concord University Police Department will also attend to assist Education graduates with their state-required fingerprint cards.

Students can also obtain information on Financial Aid exit interviews.

A student loan reduction of $1,500 will be awarded as the grand door prize. Other prizes will be awarded and refreshments will be served.

Faculty and staff are welcome to stop by, talk to the seniors and enjoy refreshments provided by campus dining.
