Recycled Percussion to Perform Wednesday, February 14

Athens, W.Va. - Recycled Percussion will be performing in the main theater of the Alexander Fine Arts Center on Wednesday, February 14 at 9 p.m.

Recycled Percussion is an incredible show; the group of musicians makes music from an assortment of power tools, scuba tanks, barrels, step ladders … even the kitchen sink. They leap on stage and proceed to bash, bang, and hammer everything in sight in an organized, fantastic beat. Recycled Percussion delivers what band member, Justin Spencer, calls “a mayhem show” that has the audience bouncing in their seats. Recycled Percussion does more than 200 shows a year, largely performing on college campuses. In 2006, college students nationwide voted them one of the best acts that tour campuses, and they have been nominated by college students for Campus Activities magazine's 2007 Best Musical Performer award.

The show is free to the public.
