Concord Alumnus To Appear On “Days Of Our Lives” October 23, 2006

Athens, W. Va. - Kahlil Joseph, a 2003 graduate of Concord University, will have a recurring role on NBC’s hit soap opera, “Days of Our Lives,” beginning October 26.

Joseph, 28, will play the role of Dr. Jim Myers in seven episodes of “Days of Our Lives.” The first six will be October 26 through November 2 with a seventh appearance on November 7. The episodes will air on NBC at 1 p.m. His character will be trying to save the lives of two of the show’s main characters, Steve “Patch” Johnson played by Steve Nichols and Kayla Brady played by Mary Beth Evans.

Joseph will have other national roles in the next few months including a U.S. Army commercial; a Thanksgiving Day appearance on CW network’s “An American Thanksgiving” hosted by Bryant Gumbel, where Joseph will play a real life evangelist preacher seeking asylum in the U.S.; and he will also have a role in the season premier of Fox’s hit show “24” starring Kiefer Sutherland that will air in January 2007.

Kahlil Joseph is originally from India. He has a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Delhi in India, a B.A. in Communication Arts with concentrations in theater and broadcasting from Concord University and earned his Master of Fine Arts in acting from U.C.L.A. School of Theater, Film and Television.
