Concord’s Social Work Department Offers Continuing Education Seminars for Fall 2005 and Spring 2006

Athens, W.Va. - The Concord University Social Work Department and the Division of Social Sciences are presenting the following workshops:

Family Therapy - November 11, 2005

Interfaith Issues in Clinical Practice - December 2, 2005

Advanced Ethical Issues - January 20, 2006

Spirituality as a Therapeutic Modality - February 17, 2006

Ethical, Legal, and Psychosocial Issues in End of Life Care - February 24, 2006

Does Leadership Matter? - March 3, 2006

Developmental Disabilities Issues in Clinical Practice - March 24, 2006

Effective Client-Focused Networking - April 7, 2006

Innovations in Leadership - April 14, 2006

Gender Issues in the Workplace - April 28, 2006

Appalachian Culture - May 12, 2006

Continuing Education (CE) license accounting forms are provided at each workshop for five (5) CE hours per workshop.

The cost for each workshop is $40. Fees should be received at least five days prior to the workshop. Persons registering for two or more courses will receive a discount of $5. per workshop ($35.00 each for multiple workshops).
