100 Children Helped by Concord University Students, Faculty and Staff
Athens, W.Va. - Concord University students, faculty and staff participated in the Salvation Army “Angel” program by purchasing gifts for children who otherwise may not receive a visit from Santa Claus. Between 250 and 300 packages were gathered for pickup by the Salvation Army in Princeton. College Center staff Bill Skeat, Lynnis Hill and Jean Mann coordinated the Angel drive. In addition, students, faculty and staff brought food for the Salvation Army’s food pantry program.
