Public Service Announcement: Concord Alumni Banquet, Friday, May 14
Athens, W.Va. - All alumni and friends of Concord College are invited to attend the Alumni Association’s annual banquet, Friday, May 14. A social will be held at 5 p.m. in the television lounge on the second floor of the College Center. The banquet will begin at 6 p.m. in the College Center Ballroom on the third floor.
For the first time ever, the Alumni Association is announcing their honorees in advance of the banquet. The Alumni Association’s awards committee chose Robert “Bob” Gallione ‘68, of Bergenfield, N.J.; J. Ken Moore ‘70, of New York, N.Y.; and Coach Tony Colobro ‘48, of Bluefield, W.Va., as the Association’s top honorees for 2004.
This year’s banquet speaker will be J. Ken Moore ’70. He will discuss his successful career with the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and how he went from night watchman to exhibit curator.
Cost for the banquet and social on Friday is $18 per person. Reservations are requested. Alumni from the class of 1954 will be admitted at no charge.
