Concord College Announces Summer School Schedule for 2003

Dean W. Turner, vice president and academic dean, announces registration dates for two terms of summer school at Concord College, with 63 classes offered during the first term and 60 classes offered during the second term. Classes will be taught in Athens and Beckley.

A list of courses is available at http://cc.concord.edu/.

Cost per credit hour is $123 for in-state students and $277 for out-of-state students, plus appropriate lab and technology fees, books are extra. Payment is due before the first day of class.

First time enrollees should contact the College prior to the registration deadline.

First Summer Term

General registration for the first summer term in Athens will be Friday, May 30, 2003. Students may sign up and pay fees in Marsh Hall (the administration building) beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Registration in Beckley for current Concord students begins April 14 at the Beckley Center of Concord College, 219 North Kanawha Street. General registration in Beckley will continue through Friday, May 30 for all students.

A $25 late registration fee goes into effect on Tuesday, June 3.

Classes in the five-week first term begin Monday, June 2, 8 a.m. Most Athens campus summer classes are taught Mondays through Thursdays, 8 a.m.-12 noon. Beckley classes are taught either afternoons or evenings at various locations.

Second Summer Term

Registration for the second summer term in Athens will be Thursday, July 3, 2003. Students may sign up and pay fees in Marsh Hall (the administration building) beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Registration in Beckley for current Concord students begins Monday, June 2 at the Beckley Center of Concord College, 219 North Kanawha Street. General registration will continue through Thursday, July 3 for all students.
