Symposiums for Fall 2002

Athens, W.Va. - Dr. Kendra Boggess, chair for the Concord College division of business, announces the following lectures for fall 2002. The lectures are part of the department’s Business Symposium Series.

Professionalism and Ethics in Business and their Correlations with Success—Tuesday, September 17, 2 p.m., College Center Subway. The speaker will be Mr. John King, MBA, former vice president for First Virtual Communications. He also worked with Lucent Technologies and Apple Computer in California.

Professionalism and Ethics in Business and their Correlations with Success—Monday, September 23, 6 p.m., MHSA, Beckley, WV. The speaker will be Mr. John King, MBA, former vice president for First Virtual Communications. He also worked with Lucent Technologies and Apple Computer in California.

How Successful Companies Use Effective Graphic Design—Tuesday, October 8, 2 p.m., College Center Subway. The speaker will be Mr. Eric Nolley, Concord alumnus and marketing representative with Wisdom Media Group, Bluefield, W.Va.

Banking, Good Credit and Entrepreneurship—Tuesday, October 29, 2 p.m., College Center Subway. The speaker will be Mr. Bill Hopkins, Concord alumnus, and commercial loan officer and assistant vice president with First Community Bank, Princeton and Athens, W.Va.

Identifying Target Markets and Developing Successful Global Business Strategies—Tuesday, November 19, 2 p.m., College Center Subway. The speaker will be Mr. Brent McClendon, International Marketing Manager, The Dean Company, Princeton, W.Va.
