Heather Comer to Offer Senior Recital

Athens, W.Va. - Heather Mae Comer, a Concord College music education major, will be offering her senior recital on Sunday, April 28 at 3:00 p.m. in the Alexander Fine Arts Center Theater. The recital will consist of soprano vocal music from the periods of Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and 20th Century Modern.

The program will include selections in five languages: Italian, German, Latin, French, and English. Composers to be represented in the recital include Bach, Mozart, Brahms, Rossini, Faure, Samuel Barber, and Andrew Lloyd Weber.

Heather is active in the performing arts at Concord. She is a member of Collegiate Singers, ConChords, and Dance Ensemble. This year she served as choreographer for Concord’s spring musical, Cinderella.

"I put a huge amount of energy into every thing I do," says Comer. "I plan to put the same amount of energy into the recital."

Miss Comer is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Comer of Oakvale, and is a 1998 graduate of PikeView High School.
