State Education Chancellor To Visit Concord College

Date: Wednesday, September 19, 2001

Time: 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Location: Concord Room, 2nd Floor, Marsh Hall

Purpose: West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission Chancellor, J. Michael Mullen, will visit Concord’s campus Wednesday, September 19. Mullen is scheduling visits to all state higher education institutions in an effort to have a broad understanding of issues and concerns affecting student learning, faculty, staff, and resources.

Concord President Jerry Beasley will host the chancellor’s visit, which will include a tour of the campus, and meetings with participants.

Participants: Faculty, staff and students from Concord College.

Special Note to the Media: The media will be given an opportunity to ask the chancellor questions at 2:45 p.m.
