Ellison to Head Up Multi-Cultural Affairs at Concord

Athens, W.Va. - Nancy Ellison was recently named director of the office of multicultural affairs at Concord College. Ellison is a 1984 graduate of Concord College and began working at the College in 1994 as an instructor in the English language training program.

In 1998, she was promoted to director of the English language training program and named international student advisor. A native of Kegley, W.Va., she now resides in Princeton with her husband Danny and their three children, Daniel, Laura, and Kelly.

“Working with people from different backgrounds and cultures is something I have enjoyed in the past,” commented Ellison. “I look forward to my new responsibilities as director of the office of multicultural affairs and hope to be able to provide services and educational programming that will be interesting and informative for students.”

“We are proud to have someone with Nancy’s experience who is interested in developing our multicultural programs,” stated Deborah Curry, director of human resources. “Her enthusiasm is contagious!”
