Lived in Europe and various states until moving to West Virginia in 1977. Since then have lived, studied, and worked in Charleston, Huntington, and Morgantown, as well as four years in Germany. Professional positions have included fine artist, arts and crafts center director, curator of art, exhibitions director, chief exhibit designer, and professor of art and design. Exhibitions of personal art works have been local, regional, national and overseas in private galleries, universities, and museums since 1983. Served 10 years in the U. S. Navy, and is a Vietnam-era veteran. Lives in Charleston.
